I recently sold my HP b9180 and now have an Epson R2880. I have two questions 1. If I select Qimage to manage; then select my profile what settings, if any, do I apply in printer properties? I think if you have Photoshop(I don't)it turns off printer properties automaticaly. 2. How do I delete my old HP profiles in Qimage? I tried right clicking and that din't work.
Thanks, TomW(ret)

See attached screen snaps below, one for the Qimage CM settings and the second for an Epson driver, yours will be very similar. Don't worry that that the 2 snaps are for different printers.
For the Qimage settings, access from Edit menu, Preferences, Color Management. The Rendering intent is your choice. All the settings are visible bottom right of the main screen.
You access the driver settings from Qimage, top right of main screen, 3rd icon from the right.

You cannot delete profiles from Qimage but when you change Qimage settings as above, you will see the Epson profile.
To delete a profile you must go the the profile folder in C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\color
This is the file path for XP, I think it's more or less the same for Vista and W7. It may be best to right click on the profile and select "Uninstall" before it's deleted.
I hope that has helped - I may have said more that I needed to but it might help others who read this  Wink
PS. Don't forget you can save a set of printer settings in Qimage, one for each printer, paper type, size, profile etc. etc.
Terry.

As a general rule, rarely excepted, the driver is set to No Color Management or sometimes called No Color Adjustment.

The profiles are stored in Windows/system32\spool\drivers\color
The only storing that Qimage will do is to save a printer set up and retrieve that obsolete profile when using RECALL in Qimage.
Just Right click on any old saved printer setups, and delete.
