You need to install Windows 7 drivers; however, I've just checked the Epson web site and they are not available for your printer.
If you had Windows 7 Professional, it has an XP mode option so it may be possible to run your printer in that way.
Qimage does dot provide printer drivers!

Thanks, I am considering buying an older used computer to run this printer on, my daughter thought maybe an external hard drive in XP, but I don't think that will work either.  My laptop will read in XP mode, so far I cannot find how to on my desktop, and hp was no help when I called for the info.  Thank you>>>

There are ways of running 2 operating systems on one PC, usually on a separate internal hard drive. You need a PC expert for this!

Yes, I have such a configuration.
See my screen snap.
Before I installed Vista on the D: drive, I had XP on that drive.
You can see from the snap that I have W7 (64) as the default OS, with the ability to select Vista set to 10 seconds that is offered before windows boots up.
I get a DOS type screen to select the D drive with Vista.

I couldn't explain the steps on how to do this. The man that built my PC did this for me.
I am certain there are quite a few persons on here advanced in Windows configuring that could probably walk you through this.

Fred

PS I just had a look on line for drivers in case I got lucky. I haven't gotten lucky in a long time though.
I see there are no drivers for W7, but I also see that the updated drivers for that printer are dated 2001......
Maybe it's time to trade in the 7500 for one with power steering and power brakes?  :D ;D ;) ;) ;) ;)

You can set up a dual boot system with Paragon Hard Disk Manager.

I did it to have Linux and Vista available.  It was a long time ago and Linux now deleted to make HD room, I have left the Boot Manager as was ( not worth the risk of trying to revert it to a one op. system.

Thanks for all the info, I finally found out how to do it, I had to upgrade to windows 7 pro, and this allows me to run in xp mode on my desktop, and thus problem solved another 80 dollar later, but it will run all windows 7 and i can access and print in xp for you have to set up a guest account on your computer to access your windows 7 pictures and files, it took awhile, and I had to get on line and read others who have done it.  It's working for me now.  Thanks Again!
