Hi--

I am going nuts trying to figure something out. I took a bunch of photos in Mexico in 2004 and wanted to print them out with my new Epson R2000, set up per Fred's instructions. I chose four images, all taken with the same camera.  Three of the images came out fine, but in the fourth the colors are totally off. I even went back to the original and tried that, thinking maybe in the editing process the image's ICC profile was wrong so it conflicted with something within Qimage (if that even makes sense), to no avail.

All ink cartridges are full.

I am attaching the photo, so you can see the proper colors (it's the one called P5082267 ed may2013), and then a photo of the print-out I got from my printer (photo.jpg), which is all pink and orange. Please ignore the image quality--this is just to show the colors. By the way, I had previously printed this image with my old Epson R800 without any difficulty.

Any thoughts about this mystery?

By the way, I have had a devil of a time posting this question. No matter how small I make the files I am getting message saying they are too big, and then when I try to submit them even smaller I get a message saying "you already posted this"!

Thanks!

Liz

I suggest you do a nozzle check and clean if required; it's possible some are blocked which is often the cause of such a problem. This is not related as to whether the cartridges are full or not.

Regarding the rules for attachments, it says the maximum size is 256kb and no more that 4. I must admit I thought it was a maximum size of 128kb with a total of no more that 256kb. I'll have to test it.

I have just done a test, I'm pretty sure this is correct.

Thanks Terry. Actually I had that thought after I posted, and found that the cyan was clogged, so I will reprint again after getting a good nozzle check print out.

I had thought it was under 256 for each attachment, and I was well under that, so thanks for clarifying !

Terry, you get the prize! Thanks! Once the cyan nozzle was cleared the colors in the printed image were fine. I am relieved and pleased.

What do you mean?
I taught him everything he knows, and he gets the prize?
