I use an old Epson 4490 scanner and have both the Epson software and Vuescan, which is the best to use with Profile Prism. Thanks Paul I don't know the software that comes with your Epson 4490, but Vuescan does allow RAW scans. Try both and see what thye results look like. Go here! http://www.ddisoftware.com/prism/about.htm Download the test image. Make your profile, and a print. Try to compare. I Have a very inexpensive Canon LIDE type scanner which I use only for profiles. Fred |
