Title: Location of created profile not in location noted at bottom of the PP window Post by: Khatsalano on March 31, 2013, 03:18:09 PM After creating a profile in PP 7.0, the message at the bottom of the screen says "Finished. ICC profile saved as: C:\Program Files (x86)\Prism\pp LiDE2210 v1.icm", but the file was actually saved as: "C:\Users\Doug\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Prism\pp LiDE2210 v1.icm".

You can and should create your own destination and filename as well as the descriptor right before you click CREATE. I made a shortcut on my desktop to the profiles folder (C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color) and also a shortcut on my desktop to the PP folder. As soon as I finish a profile I just open the two folders and drag a copy of the new profile into the profiles folder.

I made a shortcut on my desktop to the profiles folder You could have re-set the file path in PP and re-created the profile.Next time click the File Name browse button (see attached screen shot), browse to the C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color folder and name the profile. Then all will be correct with respect to the location. Terry |
