Title: PP VueScan raw Post by: jwwbrennan on December 22, 2011, 05:17:38 PM I have used Profile Prism several times - always easily and successfully but not for awhile.
I have not been able to reduce the warnings for brightness on canvas gessoed (matte) and coated with InkAid: WARNING: 29 patches marked with "X" are at minimum/maximum brightness. They are all red 'X's in the lightest (top) patches. It seems most probable it is a limit of the coated canvas but ask for input in case I am making an error. Dynamic range (70.1) and ink coverage (9.9%) are understandably low while smoothing required is acceptably 4 passes. If "Printer profile usable range: 51-255, 51-255, 51-255" could be boosted it would be nice. Can anyone tell me if it is simply a limitation of the coated canvas? |
