Can ProfilePrism generate scanner profile, from custom target?

I made a custom scanner target. I have a reference file generated from reading the patches in i1Profiler, in the measure chart mode. I'm wondering if Profile Prism can create a scanner profile from this, or if it can only work with the standard charts like IT8 or HTC.

Also it is a good idea to print the other target using teh preset PRINT TARGET -JOB in Qimage

I'm not sure what you mean by "I have made a custom scanner target". If you mean you printed something, then that is the wrong process; if it is a file from the scanner using a proper calibrated target then I would have expected the i1 software to make the scanner profile from that file.

Profile Prism uses an IT8 target for scanners which is supplied with the software; (no printing is required). The target supplied is a properly calibrated one where the calibration data is held within Profile Prism for the various batches of targets supplied by Wolfe Faust.

VueScan scanning software can make scanner profiles with an IT8 target but it has no facility to use the target calibration data so will be less precise than Profile Prism.
