Profile Prism v7.0 (11/08/10)

    Overview:

Version 7.0 uses an all new color management engine that offers greater color accuracy and slightly faster performance.  This major upgrade builds upon Profile Prism's world renowned color accuracy by offering subtle improvements to color accuracy, particularly at the extremes of tonal range where you will see smoother shadow and highlight detail.  The already excellent profile developing and tweaking tools remain unchanged so there is no learning curve for existing customers: simply reopen your old target images and generate a new profile to get the improved color accuracy of v7.0.  Click here http://www.ddisoftware.com/prism/support.htm (http://www.ddisoftware.com/prism/support.htm) to go to the support page where you can renew your yearly membership (if you haven't already renewed in the past year) and download the latest version.

Thanks very much Mike,

I assume "present users" are those with 6.5 and therefore merely need to pay $15.00 annual subscription. Correct?

Peter

PS I "assumed" further by paying the $15!

Mike,

Have generated profiles for a couple of Ilford paper types.

v7 worked fine, with the output profile showing a very slight qualitative difference in tone (towards blue in my case).

Looks good.

Thanks

Peter
