I have been using Cathy's Profiles for several years. I am interesed in switching to Profile Prism. Do I need a high end scanner? I currently have a HP OfficeJet 7300xi All-in-One. Will this work? Will this work? This is a very subjective question; since as you see by your question, each scanner can output different results. So the right answer is to wait for someone who uses the same scanner as yours, and get a proper report. I know that answer sounds like watered down soup, but that's the honest answer. I don't think they are "high end" and are not expensive, so the answer to you question could well be no.I think the scanning software can have a big influence on results. Have a look at the online help for PP www.ddisoftware.com/prism/help/scanner.htm That'll give you clue about setting HP scanners and enable you to compare your scanner software with what is said there.
