Title: Silverfast Ai Studio scanning software Post by: mical on June 27, 2009, 09:59:13 AM I am thinking of purchasing profile prism later this year; will I be able to use my silverfast Ai to generate the profiles on my epson perfection 3200 scanner? Any advice appreciated - thank you.

Si it is likely that Silverfast should work. Perhaps Mike will clear it up, and perhaps someone using Silverfast can corroborate. The one stipulation is that you have to be able to turn off all automatic settings in the software (like automatic contrast). So Silverfast should be fine for profiling a scanner since I believe it has more control over the color than most software.
