Title: Squares not matching target. Post by: enduser on April 11, 2019, 04:38:34 AM I have Target R070212 and cannot get the squares that are produced when the 4 corners are set. Thy match perfectly for the printer target but heaps of overlaps for the prism target.
Now this what usually happens for a target of the wrong physical size, but the prism target is off the original color print supplied, and scanned at the same time as the printer target. What might cause this problem? Thanks for any help Worked out the problem. On the Target you must place the "corners" at the bottom of the frame, not at the location similar to the top of the Target. A bit anti-intuitive? Anyway, it works. I think this program is a tour de force and Mike ought to be recognized for the work he does, at the price he charges. Title: Re: Squares not matching target. Yes, it's done that way because Profile Prism can compensate for distortion in the target due to things like lens distortion when profiling a camera. In order to properly compensate for any distortions that make the target a bit "warped" on capture, you have to mark the whole target including the grayscale and not just the top colored patches. In the end HP have supplied so many profiles for the T120 that my best made one was about the same as the most suitable HP one. How about that? I can now make profiles without expensive hardware, just an Epson scanner and the amazing Profile Prism!
