Title: Where do I find the "Prints", "Print interpolation" slider?
Post by: Betty on March 14, 2010, 03:19:40 PM
I purchased PP and am loading it and reading today how to profile my printer.  I'm already lost.  In the step by step info, under #1, the 2nd paragraph states "Extra sharpening is not needed.....As an example of how to disable this feature in Qimage, click "Prints", "Print Interpolation" and move the final print sharnening slider all the way to the left."

On the lower right of the QI interface I see the "sharpen" indicater.  I've taken it off "default" and put it on "0 (off)".  Is this sufficient, or do I need to find "Prints", "Print Interpolation" and move a slider.  Problem is, I have no idea where "Prints", "Print Interpolation" is found.
Many, thanks for any help/direction.
Betty

Betty,
The correct way to do this (when you have Qimage) is to click FILE in Qimage, Then RECALL.
Then Click the "J" button for JOB.
Depending on your sort alphabetically, either the top or bottom of the list contains the complete set up for target printing.
Just click it, (Q Printer target setup) and OPEN.
Qimage will set everything for you.
The only thing you need to do manually is set the driver to No Color Management.

Insert your target image and print.

Fred,
You are the D__ M-A-N!  Your title of "Hero" member is justly deserved!
Maybe I'll at least get a start on this before dark.  :-)
Many, many thanks!

Move your clock an hour ahead for Daylight Saving time.
I did last night.
