Having had to produce a set of screen shots so that Fred could debug my modus operandi I felt it might help others starting off with Profile Prism.
Firstly the settings in Q to produce the chart that will be scanned on the paper/ink combination you are profiling. This can be automated by using Recall and Jobs and it is called 'printer target set up job'
Here is the start of the Epson Printer settings.
Here is the critical bit in Epson Advanced. No colour adjustment is essential.
Vuescan input. I am using a Canon scanner.

I trust this covers all the steps and that the mistakes I'd made (spotted by Fred) have been corrected.

As Mike constantly points out it is vital that the setting in the printer is the same as the one you will use in your day to day printing. In the case of the Epson it is 'No Colour Adjustment'.
