I tried to uninstall and re-install Qimage, but it still locks-up.

I am using this in Windows XP.

I have tried to reset the settings, but this didn't help.

How do I complete uninstall the software, so I can try to re-install it.

Which Registry settings do I delete. Are there any other directories other than /program files/qimage?

The problem is it locks up and I need to terminate the software.  when it locks up it hold Qimage at 50 cpu usage until I terminate. It doesn't matter what I'm doing in qimage. I may be just looking at the menus on top or opening a file.

I know I'm in need of a new computer, but a crashing Qimage isn't enough to upgrade.

In order to try to help, we certainly need to know more.......
When did the lockups start? Have you installed anything new, new software, new printer driver, new video driver, anti virus software, just prior to the lock ups?

Try this for a fresh start.
Hold the SHIFT key down while you click the icon to start Qimage.
That will give you a fresh start. See if that cures it.

What version of Qimage are you running, type and version number?

Does it lock up immediately on opening, or when you are doing something inside of Qimage; if so, what?

To uninstall software, I would recommend this - http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html  - the freeware version will do the job - but be careful. I would also suggest you also run chkdsk - if the pc is old, then maybe the hdd is going flaky.
