Title: Sel.Color Tab Post by: Jeff on September 16, 2009, 04:33:33 PM I have managed to get the Sel.Color Tab locked on to Sepia.clr
Clicking the red cross reverts all values to 1.0 Done> apply filter to current image > associate > OK Does not create filter so image and sel.color tab remains as sepia But, repeat above and add 1 to adjust brightness and all is OK What have I done? and how do I get color back to a permanent default 1.0 Jeff Title: Re: Sel.Color Tab Post by: Fred A on September 16, 2009, 05:17:35 PM Quote hat have I done? and how do I get color back to a permanent default 1.0 Sounds like you chose the Sepia filter in Predefined filters. You are on the right track. Place the image into the queue, and enter the batch screen (which you did), and click the SEL CLR tab (which you did) and click the X to set all colors to default. The pop up box appears showing your image as normal. Click OK on the pop up box. Now the entire image is normal again. Click DONE in the batch screen and the removal of the filter is accomplished, after you click OK to save the filter. Quote Does not create filter so image and sel.color tab remains as sepia The sepia filter is already made for you in a menu on the right mouse button An easier way to delete the sepia filter or any filter, is to Right Mouse click the thumbnail and click delete Associated filter. A box comes up and you check what you want deleted, or all deleted. Fred Title: Re: Sel.Color Tab Post by: Jeff on September 17, 2009, 07:07:58 AM Thanks

Will have another try later to day, I must be getting thicker in old age. jeff Title: Re: Sel.Color Tab Post by: Fred A on September 20, 2009, 01:14:08 PM Quote Still having trouble with the Sel.Color Tab. Jeff, assuming you are still referring to removing the sepia tone, I have attached three snaps to help.Snap 14 is showing SEL CLR with sepia turned on. You click the X to reset to all back to default. Snap 15 shows the pop up box (still in the batch screen) that shows you the change before you apply it. You can see that the girl's face is normal, so you click OK!!!!!! That applies the SEL color defaults back to normal and all colors are back to normal. Click DONE in the batch screen and a box opens that asks if you want to save the filter change. Say OK, and you get snap 16. Let me know Jeff. I think I have cracked it. In Job Properties the G.Filter was selected. How that happened I have no idea, when I have a bit of time to spare I will RTFM and see if I can work out how that button came to be checked. I had a couple of weeks ago been 'messing about' with Sel.Color to see if I could get a better understanding of the feature. Many thanks for your help. Jeff Title: Re: Sel.Color Tab Post by: Fred A on September 21, 2009, 07:46:50 PM That's the G for Global filter. If you checked Sepia in there, every image would have come out sepia.
Everyone was swimming in the muddy river. ;D Anytime Fred |
