Not being very expert at shooting pictures, I get a good number of 'throwaway' shots, Do you?

I went to a birthday party for a senior and took some candid shots... can't make any formal settings when they are yelling, "Don't show my wrinkles and don't make me fatter than I am"

So I went about trying to turn candid snapshots (throwaways) into something salvageable/ halfway decent/ even framing!

I am posting two before, shots, and two after shots to illustrate what can be done in Q-Ultimate with a little imagination and patience.

I have to deal mainly with backgrounds... they were part of the image, so all we have to do is distract the eye.

Simply done using two tools; Cropping, and Cutouts.
Screen snaps 087 and 088 show the original images.

You can easily see that they were not worth keeping..
So nothing ventured, nothing gained!

Screen snaps 085 and 086 show the images looking pretty nice considering the original.

So the challenge?    Find a couple of YOUR images, perhaps of the kids playing with a hose in the back yard, or grandpa throwing a snowball at grandma.
Just snap shots....
Make them better, so good, you want to print them.
Then post one or two here.

Have fun...
Fred
