Title: Challenge 31a, 3, 4, and 5 of FIVE LESS THAN OBVIOUS REFINE TOOLS Post by: Fred A on July 11, 2014, 04:19:12 PM 3) HOLDING the SHIFT key down in Refine will show any over exposed areas by popping them on and off.
Pretty handy tool if I do say so!! See screen snap! 4) The Magnifier! Self explanatory. I was going to use this on one of the buildings in the background, but there was a lady......... oh well! 5) Sometimes, images do not seem to have a "white" or "gray" spot to use for a White Balance. I find this often with foliage and flower shots. The Refine screen in Qimage Ultimate has a trick up its sleeve. Simply hold down the CTRL key and see all the areas that can be used as White Balance selection points. Just click the WB tool button to activate White Balance, and press the control key. Find a spot, and click! See screen snap. CLICK IMAGES TO ENLARGE. The Challenge? How many were new to you? Be honest! Have fun! Fred |
