Put a little life back in old photos


Many times, you find an old snap shot or wedding photo, or grandma shot from years ago, that is from the black and white era.
You scan it, take out the cracks and creases and: Not bad.!

But if you add a tinge of color to the image, maybe a sepia or any shade really, it seems to pump some life back into the prints.

Due to limitations of attachment size, I have to split the examples into two posts.

You can see the B&W original and adding a little color to the images.
You do this by mixing the three colors, Red Green and Blue, manually, so you control the hue and color density.
