(I'd really like to get this right the first try, and not have to do it over and see what I set wrong!!!!) Let's see, I need the right profile, paper type selection, quality setting, color setting, paper size selection, .... Oh, no problem. I use Qimage Ultimate. I can set up in under ten seconds, and even better change my mind and reset to a different paper in under 5 seconds... and never make a mistake or forget to set something. How? Question is, how long before Epson market a full blown photo printer with a CIS ? they have a general purpose one with three colour inks. Nozzle check indicated a problem with a couple of colours, A couple of unclogs did not improve things A head clean resulted in all Blue blocked. Unclog with blue only was a failure (it printed red and orange) and now all heads in trouble. Another head clean and everything now perfect. Did a very good print on cheap Pola paper from Poundland. Still did not achieve Freds 5 second standard. Life gets kinda tedious, don,t it? Jeff |
