Many times, I like to see which setting makes a better print! I like to see if the Noise Reduction added softens the image too much. Does it look better with Noise reduction added and more sharpening, or better with less of both? What about White Balance... Unless you use a gray card in the photo to work from, you might have a dozen different white balance spots that will produce different results. Which rendition pleases you more? How about cropping?
