Create some interesting prints with text!! Post by: Lurcherjohn on February 16, 2013, 05:23:00 PM What looks OK any way up? Flies I thought so here's my attempt. Her indoors didn't want these pictures hanging in my usual display in the hall, so this is their debut.
Each photo was done using focus scanning, about 10 to 25 photos with different focus points combined to make a final picture. It's great fun and well worth a try. I used Topaz for the cartoon effect. They look horrendous at full A4 size. I noticed that the lettering shifts between page edit and the print to file image, I had to put the lettering in the wrong position to get it correct finally. I used the Mirror Border feature for this, normally used for canvas wrap prints. The border width was specified at a size similar to the print size. Then a print to file image made which was then cropped to select the main image (top left) and 3 of the reflections. Edit: and another added, same idea but put through the mirror border cycle twice Terry |
