Currently, the center function centers the image within the printable area, not the overall piece of papee.. This is a problem for printers where the driver defines uneven borders.  For example, on my Canon Pro 1000, the leading edge it bigger than the trailing edge for letter sizes PK prints.  This means that unless I am printing borderless, I have to manually center every image.

Not so...
Just set the Qimage Ultimate Placement to any of the INTELLI options  Top three in the screen snap

Qimage can remember that setting and you are good to go

Thanks. Can you clarify what intelli does? How does it help me if I have various print image sizes that I want to be centered on the actual paper as opposed to being centered within the defined printable area.  Thanks again.

That's what IntelliSpace does: it centers prints on the paper rather than the printable area.
