Title: Favorite profiles in Color Management Module and in Printer and Settings Menu Post by: GlossyBlacky on November 09, 2018, 08:23:25 PM I work mith many various papers and icc-profiles for papers.
It would be very good if I could save my most used printer profiles ones as favorites in the Color Management Module. To be able to access them in a drop-down menu in the Printer and Settings menu. Is this possible? I think this would be a helpful addition. Thanks Regards Wolfgang Title: Re: Favorite profiles in Color Management Module and in Printer and Settings Menu Post by: Terry-M on November 10, 2018, 08:42:30 AM Hi Wolfgang,
This feature already exists in QU. You can Save and Recall Printer Setups from the Printers & Settings tab. See attached screen shots. A saved printer setup can be made to include any variable that may be needed in the future, Printer, paper size, paperr type, profile, etc. The 3rd screen shot shows a sample from my saved printer setups. This function is also very useful. But these presets always contain all print settings, this is not always useful. I created my own printer profiles for landscape (strong color, normal, mild ...) portrait (softer skin tones ...). If I now want to change a preset and select a saved preset, all other printer settings always change with it. So that I can only select my profile in the Color Management Module and have to shimmy through the profiles again. It's OK, it's only time. Another, perhaps better solution would be that in the printer setup settings menu I can select or deselect which parameters are saved: - paper size, - paper type, - profile - qimage settings - ... No, only because the the presets you want have not been saved with a different and appropriate filename. If you look at my 3rd screen shot, you see some identical saved setups except for a different profile and or rendering intent, indicate by the file name.
