From the page editor or the live view screen, I would like to be able to right click on a photo and say "Copy Filter", then right click on another photo and say "Paste Filter,"  I can do this now by having only those photos in the queue to which I want to copy the filter.

Hi Mel,
One way I do this is to open the image editor for the image I want to copy to and use File, Open Filter Parameters from File and browse to the folder with the image filter I want to copy.
Alternatively, right click the thumb you want to copy to and select Predefined Filter (Shift+A) and browse to the filter required.
Thirdly is have the images in the queue, edit the first image and when you click Next or done you are offered the choice to copy the filter top all images in the queue.

However, your copy and paste from the thumbs idea seems neat!

Thanks Terry - what you say as "thirdly" is what I usually do for this.  But often - as today - I had 9 print in the queue and I wanted to apply the same filter to 4 of them only (I use this as a starting point for similarly located/exposed pictures - then refine individually later - this just gives me a "close enough" filter so that I can evaluate the picture). So what I do now is

1 - save the entire layout as a job or session
2 - Remove the 5 prints I don't want to apply the filter to
3 - Do the edit and "apply to all"
4 - Recall the saved job

It's not that big of a deal - but it would be helpful to be able to copy and paste the filter.
