Top of my list would be the ability to zoom in on a page in the page editor and magnify for precise placement of photos, text, etc.  Right now when I need to do this, I use print preview and then zoom in on that, then go back into the editor and tweak as needed..  True, photo placement can be accomplished precisely just by specifying its location on the page, so maybe I only really need this when text is involved.
