Hello.

For the first time in a number of QU updates I am needing to drag individual thumbnails onto an entry in the queue, to replace an image previously saved in a job.

My problem is that I'm unable to reliably activate the drag. It has just taken me 5 mins to replace two images in a queue!

Previously this action has worked fine.

Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

Update: it seems that if I click and hold on the bottom grey margin of a thumbnail and then drag the cursor onto the centre of the thumbnail I can then "capture" the thumbnail to drag it!

Can anyone confirm the problem?

Thanks

Regards

Peter

Peter,
To the best of my knowledge, (remembering), so much has been added and improved with regard to the dragging and dropping, (example: dragging an image onto the preview screen and off again and back on will rotate the image) that Mike simplified the drag to replace.
Click the QUEUE tab on the Job Properties line. Now all you need to do is drag the thumb and drop on top of the one you want to replace.

So dragging and dropping into the Queue list will replace; dragging and dropping onto the preview panel will add.

Give it a try.

Thanks Fred.

The two drag and drop options are very handy.

My problem is initiating the drag.

Oh?
I have no such problem here. I have tried every which way.... cannot make a miss.
Not trying to be a smarty pants, but have you tried cleaning the roller and interior of the mouse with a Q tip and alcohol, or at least a brush?
Hiw about plugging in your spare mouse?

OK. Thanks for testing it Fred.

The problem is obviously to do with my machine. Possibly mouse interrupts in the virtual machine.

Maybe a re-boot and another day will fix it!

Cheers
