Sure,
Adding text is very easy, except for the first time you do it.
You have your image in the queue and see it on the LIVE VIEW main screen.
Right click for the menu and select EDIT PAGE. Now you are in the Page editor.
See screen snap. Look for the blue bar  that says, "ADD FLOATING TEXT".
You have to select a spot for the text on the image, but it will be easy to place later, so don't fuss, just click a spot.
Then type what you want. Say OK...
There is much more, of course to change text size, color, font, and make block letters, and add date and many other doo dads.
So try this, and I will be here with others to help if you need some.

Just to whet your appetite, Here's floating text using a mat border to allow room for a large amount of text.

Have fun

See screen snap 098 and find the cursor hand ready to click on FONT in blue.
The next snap shows you all you can change: Point size, Font selection, color.
You are doing great!
Like I said, complex the first time. Easy Peasy next time.
Fred
PS I hope you are clicking on the image in the post so it enlarges.

Thank you! Of course, it was right in front of me...if I was a snake hunter, I'd be a dead man!

Barry,
The text application is a little tricky in your situation. Meaning:
How many images are on the page?  Then Qimage wants to help by asking if you want any change to one or all.
So try this. Slowly move your cursor over that little blue dot until it becomes a finger.
Now Right click and make your correction by using delete one or all.
Need more info from you. Or even a screen snap.

Version 2022.126
One image on page
Image from Lightroom 'Plug In Extras"
Edit Page
Click on Position
Add Floating Text
Type in text
OK    text shows on Image
OK again
Done  Text shows in image
Print
Text shows twice one off set below by 1/8th inch and to the right by 1/8th inch

Two texts are not shown on the image in Qimage.

Did right click when blue dot changes to a hand after returning to Edit Image
The text is shown once in whit text panel
I deleted it for interest
OK text still on edit image
Text is still  shown on image
Printed it
Text still shown double as above.

I am foxed!

Barry, without a screen snap, I can only guess; but I get the feeling that what you see is this.
Simple fix.Reset the SHADOW DEPTH to a zero or a 1  that second text will position itself off or as a shadow depth to thicken the text.
LOOKS LIKE THIS MIGHT BE THE POSSIBLE FIX

Fred takes pride in beating me to the answer: he gets up with the witches.  Wink  That's definitely it.  You have shadow turned on.

Don't blame me for being conscientious about Qimage. (I can even spell conscientious).
Some people arrive at their office late; then their secretary brings them the morning latte and a breakfast burrito. The guy in his mail room has put copies on his desk which he peruses.  He does have them color coded as Urgent, Important, WTF, and too stupid to read.
It's closing in on 10 am at this point.
Oh well
