Title: TIFFs exported from another program not appearing in On Deck.
Post by: JohnG50D on July 14, 2017, 03:37:53 AM
G'day all. I'm exporting a 16bit TIFF from Affinity Photo 1.52.69 and have tried both Bilinear and Lancrzos Non Sep, with Don't export layers unchecked and I cannot place it On Deck.
The TIFF originally came out of Lightroom.
I think it's a problem with the particular image or something odd about TIFFs out of AP.
I can resave the image in yet other applications and it goes to On Deck AOK.
PS. Have just converted a RAW in AP the same way and it too will not appear in OD.
Will another AP user please try to duplicate this??
PPS. This image has massive wide angle distortion and needed a lot of correction.
Thanks from an Au QIU enthusiast.

If Affinity Photo saved the files with a .tiff extension (instead of .tif), they wouldn't show on deck.  I've fixed that and the fix will be in 2018.105 in the next day or so.

Until then, if you change the extension to just 'tif' QI will see them

Thanks very much Mike for the unprecedented excellent support.
The TIFFs appeared in On Deck directly after the update.

A previous problem of invalid pointer error whenever I opened and scrolled through images in two folders is now gone after fixes a couple of updates ago which pleased me no end. I had no hope of finding the problem images.

Thanks again.
