Hi,

today when I used QImage U all new thumbs were black. This was both NEF and TIFF files. Older thumbs that I'd sent to QImage U were ok but the no new thumbs. Refresh refreshes to black. If I send the image to the editor, the image momently appears then goes black. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but there is no change in the behavior.

Don't know what else to try.

Sounds like a bad monitor profile.  Set your monitor profile to "OFF" on the top right of the main window and rebuild the thumbs.  If they are no longer black, the monitor profile you were trying to use is corrupted.
