Let's say I tile 4 cells on one sheet of 8.5 x 11 paper and add the same image to each cell. Is there a way to apply different edits to each individual cell? I was trying to do this earlier, but when I edit a single cell ALL the cells on the page now have that same edit. Are the edits linked because it's the same image, albeit 4 different times on the page?

Thank you for any help provided.

Yes.  This is because the image editor edits the image and not the print.  To have different edits, you'd have to copy the image file and make different edits to the different copies.

Just so I'm clear...

I can't do this directly in Qimage, correct? I'd have to have separate copies of the file such as File1, File2, File3, and File4, then add them to individual cells? I tried "Ins" to create a copy, but the edits still apply to all cells. I'm a new user to Qimage, but I find it interesting that no one ever suggested having the ability to create a ring-around template to see how various edits to the same image look on paper. I could certainly work this up in PS, but was really hoping Qimage would allow me to set it up there.

Thanks for the help, though.

You can do this easy peasy right in Qimage.
Right click on thumb and select rename. Swipe and COPY.
Now, Right click and select COPY. A box pops up showing the current location. Just swipe over it and do a PASTE. Now simply change one letter of the filename/ Done. Now you have two copies.  Repeat the COPY and paste part until you have enough

Thank you, Fred, that's exactly what I want to do!
