I found an old July 2013 thread which touched on the following. It seems preferable to start again for advise with the latest QIU version.
I have two identical images on a page, and in the Page Editor have assigned different profiles to each.
Under the Settings Tab, should I set to OFF in the Printer Profile drop down and let the assigned profiles do their work??
A warning comes up about sending raw data to the printer and OFF is useful for profile creation etc.
Does having a profile active in Settings influence the result when the images have their own different profiles?
This one is new to me. I'd appreciate more guidance again please.
Regards,
Hi John,
I was just doing a lot of this two days ago as I resurrected my Profile Prism to re-profile my papers for my New Printer.
Do not try to over complicate.
Example: Put 2 5 x 7s of the same image on the screen in the queue.
Set the driver to the correct settings for paper, quality, and no color adjustment. (You normally do this anyway)
Now set the profile you normally use in the Settings Tab.
All set to print!!
Now Right click on one of the two images on screen and select CUSTOM COLOR MANAGEMENT SETTINGS.
Now dot the box for custom settings.. see my screen snap
Three lines below that sits your current profile. Click the button to the right of it, and select your second profile to be used on the select6ed image.
A little do-jiggy icon will appear on the selected image on screen to show the second profile is active.
Now make your print.
One 5 x 7 will print with first profile and a different profile will be used by the second image.
Hope this helps.
Fred
