I have been printing on qimage for years- works great and very efficient.
But I have run into an issue I have not been able to figure out.
I need to print a 12x18" print along with a border to fit on a 16x20" board.
These will be printed on 24" wide paper- I have about 40 of these to print.
I need 1" borders on the right and left side- 18" + 2x1" borders- gives me 20"
I need a 1" border on the top of the print, but a 3" border on the bottom- gives me the 16" size.
Borders will be white- so I also need to print marked corners to cut the 16x20" overall print size.
I need to be able to save all the settings as a job- so I can just add 12x18" prints and everything is ready to go.
I have 40 of these to print and mount now- and the possibility of 100 or more.
This has me stumped.  I can print the image and then manually trim to get the borders, but that takes too long with this volume.
Thanks
Gary

Hi Gary,
The feature to do this was introduced some while ago, it's called "Photo Mats (uneven borders)".
See screen shots below.
Place the mage in the queue and right click on it to select Photo Mats
Enter the border sizes with Grow Mat selected, OK.
Select the mat on the print preview, you cannot easily see it if white but click just outside the image.
Select the crop marks required.

NB. you can have multiple mats to create several borders on one image.

Hope that helps.
Terry

PS. There is a video for mats https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rl8Q4fP7rYM&feature=youtu.be&hd=1
Or click the red V bottom right on the Mats dialogue

Thanks so much- I will give this a try tonight.  That work thing still gets in the way.
I "knew" there was a way to do this- qimage has done everything else I could come up with- but this one had me stumped.
Thanks again.
