Need some help on this. I am seeing black bars on some of the images. I've checked and they look fine in windows explorer. I've already tried removing and replacing the images again from the original source, and I've updated Qimage to the latest release.

Image attached, I've highlighted the parts in red. Any idea on what the issue is and how to rectify them?

Thanks

The best thing would be if you could post a link to one of the images that has the black bar.  Then I can see if there's something in the JPEG file that could cause it.

Hi Mike,

Can I email over the file instead? They're blurred because those image files do not belong to me, but a client.

PS. I manage to create a duplicate folder and used the images in there with no issues. It seems to be an issue only with that folder, replacing the images in the folder didn't seem to work either.

You mean you copied the images with the black bars to another folder and those same images didn't have the black bars in the other folder?  If that's the case, sending to me probably won't do any good: they'll probably work for me too.  Have you tried clicking "View", "Rebuild Thumbs/Raws" in the folder with the bad images?  Maybe they just need to be rebuilt.

Yes, I copied the folder with the images that has the black bar issues, renamed it and the issue in the copied folders did not reoccur. I will try the 'rebuild thumbs/raw' if the issue reoccurs. I've already deleted the previous folder with the black bar issue.

Thanks Mike
