I print using Qimage using an Epson 7890. Usually everything is fine, but sometimes, after printing, or if i get an error such as out of paper/ink etc, I get a dialogue box popping up and i can't close it. Clicking the Cancel box doesn't, clicking the red close 'X' top right doesn't either. So eventually the only way I know to get rid of it is with the Task manager and that does work but is a pain to have to use every time. Can anyone throw any light on why this box won't close? I get that box too when I am out of paper, or ink, but as soon as I add paper, (and press the button on the printer that is blinking) the box will clear. It is an Epson Monitor box. That is usually, (at least on all of my Epsons) a free separate download from the Epson driver page. Have a try at reinstalling that Monitor. Fred |
