I was able to turn on crop with actual image size and get a cropped portion of the image that I could adjust.  Now I automatically get an image that is resized to the paper size (or a template size) no matter what I do.
This is very important to me as I proof this way, adding an overlaid image as "fit to page" and then adjusting each to be visible.  Fit to page works fine.

Nothing in the driver (iPF8300) has changed like checking the box to fit to size etc.  Any ideas?  J Vee

I am not positive about your issue, but I think you are saying that your crop that you try to make is matching the print size, and you want to crop freehand without that constraint.

If so do one of either of these suggestions.

1) Uncheck Crop lock in the Editor (see snap)

2) Disable auto crop (See screen snap)

Hi JV
I assume when you say "actual image size" you mean the embedded size.

This sounds as though the printable area of the page is smaller than the image size. That is the only way I can reproduce what I thinks you are saying - and Qimage warns you that is the case.
Give us some data, page size, printable are size (given above page preview on main screen) and image size.
