Title: Can a RAW file be saved as a JPG?
Post by: Jim Shearer on September 16, 2010, 12:49:43 AM
I am interested in QImage Ultimate and want to know if a RAW file that is processed by QImage be saved as a JPG.  If so, can we select the amount of compression?  I typically do not like to compress the JPG file.

Yes & yes.
There are several ways of making a jpeg but the mains ones would be:
1. Convert - image(s) in queue, right mouse click and choose convert with options on resize, profile conversion, compression etc.
2. E-mail/web copies, again from right mouse click, converts to sRGB (optional) with option on pixel size & compression
