Can Qimage call up a RIP driver?

Curious if I can omit the Epson and Canon printer drivers and maybe drop directly into a RIP software program driver that allows for sundry sizes other than the manufacturer allows, say a RIP driver/software program like StudioPrint 14 out of Qimage?

You could print to file and use the results in another program. Or you can go to any length you like (including beyond the driver limitation) on any printer that offers roll paper support. Here's how:
