Say I want to limit the printer to grey ink only. If I go into the driver and check the black and white print checkbox, will Qimage override that? I was printing a grey target and it came out an obvious brown tone. Hints, kinks or should I, in this odd case, just tell Qimage not to manage color?

Not only does Qimage not override that setting, it'll show the preview in black and white even if you add a color photo to let you know the driver is in B/W mode so you don't forget and get surprised when you leave the driver in B/W mode.  So if you get brown prints, your black/gray inks are brown.  Smiley

Don't make my brown eyes blue...
Now I'm really mystified- have to do some experiments this weekend.
Thanks- that's how I hoped Qimage worked but didn't try it with a full color shot.

Best,
Conrad
