Title: Canon S90 raw processing Post by: Chuck Tankersley on May 02, 2011, 08:47:30 PM Over the weekend, I shot some wedding photos with the Canon S90 (raw). I just noticed that when I downloaded them they only show as adobe.icm, whereas my Nikon D300 shows as D300.icm. I looked at the profiles I had downloaded in the past, but do not see the S90 listed; however, I see that in announcement for v109 (I believe) the S90 shows as being available. Do I need to download that one specifically, or is it automatically available?
Thanks, Chuck Title: Re: Canon S90 raw processing Post by: Fred A on May 02, 2011, 10:34:27 PM Quote I see that in announcement for v109 (I believe) the S90 shows as being available. Chuck, I did some checking, and it appears that the Canon S90 is "supported" as in Qimage Ultimate will recognize and decode Raw files, but a camera profile is a separate item. The S 90 is not in the list of Camera Profiles that are for sale. That only means that no one has taken the time to shoot a target with the camera and send it to Mike. I know there's an email with full instructions if you have an IT-8 target and wish to take an hour to shoot it properly. If anyone can lay his hands on it quickly, can you paste/post it for Chuck? If not, perhaps, Mike will see this and come up with his email instructions. Fred |
