How do I change the default file location from c:\programdata.... to something else as I dont want the files placed there. I have checked preferences but I cant see how to do this?
There are two ways
1) As you are installing, one of the install screens asks if is OK to place the data files HERE, with a browse button to let you select a different spot
2) In Qimage, drop the Utilities menu and select Migrate/Copy Application data.
You will be able to move all the files to your new location and / or back them up/ and save the location as a DEFAULT.
