Indeed, I too use the X-rite i1 Studio, and the monitor looks good using their calibration. However, when I calibrate the printer using their software, the resulting printer profile give a very dark print with a pronounced orange cast similar to what was described here in the first message by Dave. Yet, using the same printer profile and printing from Lightroom gives a fairly accurate print. I need to try again and make sure I'm not double profiling. If I default to let the printer manage, then the prints are OK, albeit a tad dark.
