Have you tried downloading to a different disk or folder in the Qimage disk or to a USB stick?  If you can, you might try copying it from there to the desired folder.  Might be a workaround but it won't necessarily tell you a lot about why downloading isn't working as it should.

I have just managed to download qimage ok.

After discovering I could download from another computer ok.

Searched on google for the problem and found ...

I have got IE9 on my computer (Auto download) I have had to change a setting in

Internet options, advanced, then under the security section unchecked

do not save encryted pages to disc  Huh? who knows??

but after doing this I have successfully downloaded

So thanks for all your help any way.
