Title: Create grid with images centered in grid spaces Post by: steve@grandrivergiclee.co on November 22, 2023, 08:56:14 PM I often have to print a series of images in a grid that is then trimmed to standard sizes. For example, I may need to print a 5x7, a 6x9, and a 4.5x6 image all centered on 8x10 pieces of paper. So I specify a paper size of 24x10, add the images, but then I have to manually place them using the image location feature on the full page editor. This is time consuming and involves having to do sometimes complicated math. This is a simple example but I often have to do this with much larger layouts.
So I'm wondering if there is an easier way to do this. It would be nice if you could create a grid on a larger piece of paper and then have the images automatically centered withing each section of the grid. For example you could create a grid of 12 8x10 sections on a 24x40 piece of paper and then have the images automatically center withing the grid spaces as you add them to the layout. You can't auto-arrange prints in a recursive "page within a page" scenario so you make layouts that conform to the size you like and save the layout. This way you only have to set things up once.
