I have been using q image for a few years now and for the most part I am very happy with it.
It is on 2 computers.
Computer 1 is good most of the time (win 10)
computer 2 (win10) is good half the time.
I get major colour variations on computer 2
see attached screen shot.
The images in q image look good but the image that show up for the preview is way off.
There appears to be no rhyme or reason for this happening.
I check all my settings on both computers but there is no difference that I can see.
I know I am missing something but I do not know what
Any help appreciated
Tom

Hi Tom,
Hard for me to see, but I believe I see your media selection being Premium Luster, but the profile seems to read Photo Papaer SATIN.
They should match. Find the Epson   profile for the 9900 Ultra Prem Luster/   It reads:  C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\color\Pro9900_7900 PremiumLusterPhotoPaper.icc
Try it
Fred

You are using a driver preview to evaluate color?  That's a big no-no!  You never use a driver preview to evaluate color: use soft proof if you want some idea of color and print if you really want to see the final result.  Driver previews display "raw" colors.  They will tend to look closer to what you would expect if you use "let printer/driver manage color" and can look very bad if you are using a printer profile due to the raw nature of that preview.  The driver preview's purpose is to confirm what is being printed and the size(s), nothing more.

Regards,
Mike
