I don't understand why the warning is issued. The page size is known, the printable area is known, the requested size is known, so it's easy to see that there will be no problem with the value used in my example. Why force me to go through this useless step?
Pat
It is explained.
When you invoke a request for long size known, let Qimage set the short side of the print, it doesn't know the ratio of length to width it might find, so to alert you to the fact that *If you give it an image that is 277 and (since the A4 printable area is 204 mm in the vertical) and the other side worked out to be larger than 204mm, Qimage is alerting you that it might need 2 pages in that event.
Unlike PS and Lightroom that will resize your print and not tell you they did it, Qimage honestly reports what it's doing and why.
If the short side is less than 204mm, Qimage will fill your request.
It is simple.
If an extra mouse click bothers you, I am afraid I can not debate that with you.
