I have Studio and Ultimate licences. If I want to print to two printers at the same time is it ok to launch two versions of the same Studio edition? I presume it would be best to launch Ultimate and Studio? Would anything be upset regarding profiles if I did so as I'll be using different printer types and possibly different profiles.
Thanks

John

Hi John,
You most certainly can open two copies of Ultimate. I do it often.
Each copy is separate and can be configured individually.

I have done this with a Studio and an Ultimate, bit sometimes, the "closing" of the programs causes the saved printer to get confused.
So I have adopted the habit of using EXIT WITHOUT SAVING when I closed Studio.
Either way will work though.

As Studio seems to be broken with my profiles is there any way I can launch two versions of Ultimate?

Yes, of course, I do it all teh time.

John. Studio is not broken. It is out dated.
Your complaint would be tantamount to complaining that your 1946 Buick needs leaded gas, and it knocks with unleaded.

Haha. I understand. I am not complaining at Studio which is admitedly out of date. It just worked fine for me for years and I prefer being able to see the print settings without having to click on tabs.
I cannot launch two versions at once on my machine - win 7 Pro.

Same Problem; Same solution.
If you need more up-to-date features only found in W 10, you need to update your Windows.
My wife's machine is W 7 Pro, and she gets along fine for what she does.
But if you want to modernize with 2 QUs running simultaneously, You have to update your OS

Oh really I need Windows 10? That's odd. I can load up several versions of other programs such as BreezeBrowser on my Win 7.
I really don;t want to upgrade Win 7 which is working so well. I predict a fist full of headaches.

On W7 different versions, yes, but two copies of the same program, doubtful
