Currently my system default printer is set to a PDF printer (for saving web pages to view later off-line, like some on this forum!).  I've installed the Canon XPS printer drier in addition to the standard Canon printer, and am now using on that driver in QU.  If I "hide" (or whatever it's called) the standard Canon printer, then for whatever reason the XPS printer no longer shows up.  So both Canon drivers are there in my list.

When I open QU, it defaults to the non-XPS driver.  Is there any way to set QU so that it defaults to the XPS printer?  (If this has already been answered, just point me to that post.)

Hi George,
If you unlock the padlocked gear wheel (see screen snap)  then Qimage will open the same as when you closed it with XPS as the selected printer
If you want to keep that padlocked that way, just click on the wheel again and select Current

Yes!  My gear wheel was locked, but with the non-XPS printer.  I had to unlock, set the printer to XPS, then re-lock.  Worked like a charm.

Thanks again, Fred.  But obviously that was too easy for you.  I'm still going to try to find a really hard question for you...

George,
Terry gets me every time. You just have to know how.

He asks, Fred, I am trying to make a 287.4mm x 493.6mm on A2 paper, and it keeps turning around.

When I see all those mms, my eyes roll up into my head and the room spins.
