Hi, I just downloaded QU and just started learning.
I have a made some panorama photo and saved them in big Photoshop files 7-40Gb PSB format.
I guess I might have to install a plugin in PS CS6  to be able to print. Is there a way I can try the plugin?

System:
Windows 10
5600x CPu
Nvidia 108TI
64Gb ram
SSD 2 x 1tb + Nas 60TB

Qimage is limited to files under 2GB (based on Xres * Yres * 3) so you won't be able to print 7-40 GB files with or without the plugin in one piece: they'd have to be split into sections.  If you save the files as TIFF and they are under 2GB, you could give it a try.  What size prints are you printing that require a 40 GB file?

An example: 2GB will allow you to print a 24 inch tall pano that is 213 inches (7 feet, 8 inches) long at 360 PPI.  I ask what size(s) you are printing because I find that sometimes people create massive files that just increase overhead without increasing print quality.

Hi Mike.
My Files is panorama stitched with 250-300 photos 50Mbpixel (Canon R5).

Latest is 216500 x 121800 pixel  = 26 Gigapixel a few bigger and some a little smaler.

I also gone test an 2x extender on the 800mm f11 Canon. I can often reduce files size to 4-8gb, but 2gbit is no option.
I can print from Photoshop, but I was thinking a RIP software  might could help me with a better structure on printing.

If 2Gb is max, I must look other places or forget it.

Just to clarify...

A 216500 x 121800 pixel (79 GB) image is good for a 60 foot by 28 foot print: and I don't know of any 28 foot wide printers.  If you have, for example, a 44 inch wide roll printer, that same image can be saved at 28156 x 15840 (1.3 GB) and printed at 78 x 44 inches (360 PPI) and you'd end up with the same print quality compared to using an image that is 60 times too big for the job.
