As a new owner of this software, I want to say that I am very pleased and happy to have it and use it.
The structure and functions are very good, but I want to suggest a very simple function of the number of copies of individual photos.
Can you add a field of small images to select the number of copies of each photo. I'm giving an example to Epson's software "Epson Easy Photo Print"?

Thanks but this is a tough way to add copies. I just suggested visually how it would be better and easier to choose copies of the photos...

This is one of those things that on the surface, looks like a neat little feature, but it would only work in software that is functionally limited (such as software that only allows you to print one size at a time).  Qimage gives you so much freedom for your layouts that this doesn't really make sense.  For example, you have marked 5 copies of image 5222.  What size are they?  Did you add all 5 at 4x6?  Or maybe three of them are 4x6 and two are 5x7.  Then suppose you click to decrement copies from 5 to 4.  Which one do you remove from the live view?  Do you remove one of the 4x6 prints?  One of the 5x7 prints?

Or... does the number on the thumbnail not correspond to how many are in the current job: it's just an indication of how many will be added the next time you click the "+" button?  If that's the case, that's confusing leaving the number of copies different/separate on each thumbnail.  You might see "5" on the thumbnail for image 5222 but you pressed the + button twice so you actually already have 10 in the live view.  Or you may have added one copy of 5222 and after that, changed the number on the thumbnail to 5 without actually adding more: then you'd look at the thumbnail and think you have 5 copies ready to print when in fact, you only have one.  In this case, having a different #copies per-thumbnail is just confusing if it doesn't correspond to the number currently on the live view, in which case, Fred's answer is the best one: just use the copies box on the prints tab.

For that one particular workflow, I could understand the feature.  But when faced with the prospect of only being able to print one size at a time, I think most people would say they want the flexibility to print all sizes they need in one job over having #copies show on each thumbnail.  Being able to queue up any and all sizes you want on the fly is a major feature that sets Qimage apart from most other software.  It is an essential feature for roll printing and is important for sheet printing as well.  Many people, myself included, don't like printing borderless due to the tradeoffs (imprecise cropping due to paper loading/expansion and reduced quality at the edges to name two).  When we want to print some 8x10, 5x7, and 4x6 prints, we load A4 or letter paper and do it all in one job and trim with a Rotatrim.

Even if I wanted to print borderless on 4x6 or 5x7 sheets, I can select #copies easily.  From your screenshot:

- On the Prints tab, set #copies to 5 and then click the + button on image 5222
- On the Prints tab, set #copies to 1 and then click the + button on image 5221
- On the Prints tab, set #copies to 15 and then click the + button on image 5220
- And so on...

I really appreciate the sincerity of this suggestion, and it is clear that for his specific work flow, it would be a benefit. I can only speak for myself when I say it would not be a feature that would be especially useful to me.  Not always, but most of the time, I do print multiple sizes on a page. An 8x10 and three 5x7s fit nicely on a 13x19 sheet for example.  But more importantly, I create photo montages, for framing or for album pages; I create an annual family "yearbook."  QU makes this so easy to do. For reasons touched on here and elaborated on in quite a few other threads in this forum, I never print borderless anymore. And the point I am trying to make here is, that I infer from what I have seen in this forum over the years, that printing multiple prints/sizes on a single page is a very often used QU feature.

I realize of course that if I were in a more production oriented environment, as I know is true for quite a few QU users, I might have a very different perspective on this.  Yes, trimming those borders is a real pain, even for just the dozen or two at a time that I do when I want borderless.  It would be interesting to hear from others who feel that this feature would be useful.
