When editing in PH Elements 2020 the “automate” button is grayed out. I clicked on the plugins button and Qimage is listed there but is grayed out and indicating use automate. I tried to reinstall
Using the QUplugin installer I get this:

PlugIn installation
*** INSTALLATION LOG ***
LOCATE ADOBE PRODUCTS...
No Photoshop installation(s) found
Photoshop Elements installations found:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2020\Plug-Ins\ (64 bit)
Lightroom installation found:
C:\Users\*user*\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\
----------
*** STATUS ***
Photoshop Elements PlugIn failed to install in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2020\Plug-Ins\
Lightroom PlugIn installed in C:\Users\*user*\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Modules\QUExport.lrdevplugin

The 2 QU files, 8li and 8be are in the indicated folder of Elements. I tried reinstalling QU but that did not work either. The odd thing is that I do not have Lightroom installed on this computer only Elements and Reader.
The computer in a new PC build with new SSD, Win 10 ver.2004, QU 2020-115, Elements 2020 file ver.18.0.0.0

What’s the solution?
Thanks

With Elements, you have to turn on "Expert" mode to run automation plugins.  There should be a button near the top of the UI that lets you switch to Expert mode.  I think the options are "Quick", "Guided", and "Expert".

Thanks Mike
